Military Games On PS4
Chilling with your squad while you await a hail of bullets.

For years the PC represented the chief thing for engaging in military games. But with the rise of the PS4, here are the top PS4 war games that are pure awesome.

10. Verdun

Verdun gameplay

If you are a WW1 historian, you will genuinely enjoy this game. Verdun hauls you into WW1 between 1914-1918 and is inspired by the decisive battle of Verdun in 1916. It is an FPS that calls for close-quarter combat and bayonet skills as well as aiming with the rifle.

Verdun has five game modes with historic weapons, uniforms and many more. 64 players can take turns in playing and taking opponent trenches. Experience WW1 gameplay in the real battlefields of France and Belgium in a tactical squad-based FPS with 15 distinctive squads.

Command troops while trying to avoid being blown to bits.

Tell scary stories with friends in the night while you await gas attacks.

9. Insurgency:Sandstorm

Insurgency:Sandstorm gameplay

Moving on from WW1 to modern combat, at number 9 we have an indie game and it is a sequel. Most sequels are usually not great, but Insurgency:Sandstorm is a worthy title to its predecessor.

Demonstrate your skills as a team member and overcome your enemies in this FPS based on objective-oriented gameplay. This is a game where skill is rewarded, and teamwork is the winner.

Move with speed and caution through this imaginary middle east setting. Use your bullets wisely as every shot counts and you can't afford to waste any of them. The game has sold 5 million units.

The classic machine gun action.

I am not an expert but I think he just broke his ankle.

Light that tank up like candle.

7. Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Star Wars Battlefront 2 gameplay

Let's go from earthly to inter-galactic conflicts. Next number on our list is legendary and it has its roots in a successful movie franchise.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is a direct sequel in a reboot of an old game. This game is connected to the recent Star Wars movies and occupies locations from them. The game can be engaged in Single and Multiplayer modes. The multiplayer has nine game modes of its own like Galactic assault, strike, blast, heroes vs villains.

The game's developer is committed to offering players frequent new content through DLCs and is available for all players in events called Seasons.

The game features full campaign story mode unlike 2015's Battlefront 1.

Just let me carry the greatest looking lightsaber ever.

Run from the fire storm troopers.

6. Battlefield 1 (single-player campaign)

Battlefield 1 gameplay

And we are back on earth in WW1 conflicts of Battlefield 1 - 1 associating the first world war.

This game looks great and I sincerely mean it. In this game mounted cavalries, planes and first tanks collide, and the war is never the same. Environments are fully destructible, and they can change with weather conditions making it vital to adapt.

Take control of many vehicles dating back to WW1 and influence the war in ways never before seen.

You can specialize your soldier by unlocking new equipment enhancing your abilities. Use tactics to get the edge.

Cool-looking guy but this excuse for a gun is not doing him favors.

Another cool guy but no bad looking weapons to hinder him.

5. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gameplay

Another amazing game and earlier installments were awesome too. This is the first Call of Duty without a single-player campaign. However, It has “solo” missions mode which is the backstories of the characters in the game.

There is no automatic health regeneration bar, and it has new ballistic systems and predictive recoil. Black Ops 4 is mainly a multiplayer FPS with additional Zombies and Battle Royale modes.

There are unique soldiers called Specialists, and each have unique abilities. Zombies return as coop mode and more personalized playing styles.

Shoot everyone from far away.

Take some motor action.

4. Call of Duty WW2

Call of Duty WW2 gameplay.

One of my favorite gaming franchises of all time and it comes with a Bang!! This is the WW2 setting gamers all wanted. It became the highest grossing console game in 2017.

The game focuses on the atrocities in the Concentration camps, and it made it an authentic war story. It brings back many of the classical mechanics seen in the former Call of Duties.

You have no health regeneration; it requires you to find the med packs or the squad doctor to do it for you. The game allows you to capture enemy soldiers and drag wounded allies to cover. In multiplayer you can choose to be the allies, or the axis power.

Snowy day but blazing guns keep the soldiers warm.

The face even his other does not love.

3. Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood gameplay

On number 3 we have a prequel. This game has eight chapters and an immersive storyline and also thrilling action. As I said this is a prequel to the well-received: “Wolfenstein: The New Order.”

Wield your weapons or gain abilities for stealth takedowns. Experience the rural Germanic towns, fantastic valleys with cable cars and much more. Also, this features a return from the legendary castle of Wolfenstein. Use dual-wielding metal pipes to navigate the world with wall climbing abilities.

Go up against new villains and enemy Super soldiers, elite shock troops and others. The story unfolds in two parts.

Not sure why he is fighting me in close quarter combat when he can shoot me???

Here doggie, here’s the lead.

2. Sniper Elite 4

Sniper Elite 4 gameplay

Taking a break from running around and fast killing, it's time to adopt a measured approach from afar. Experience tactical sniper combat and long shots across vast terrain.

The game is set in Italy, and you are releasing it from Fascism. You are elite marksman Karl Fairburne and fight with communist rebels in Italy. We have sniper ballistics as you now must account for wind gravity and heart rate when shooting.

Employ iconic sniper rifles from WW2 and also other weapons.

Snipe your way with the rebels and free Italy.

Take in the beautiful locations and shoot the fascists.

1. Tom Clancy’s: The Division 2

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 gameplay

This is it, number 1. Played from third person perspective it takes place after the first Division game.

This game requires playing together to complete objectives. The game also feature Raids which can be completed by up to eight players.

The Division 2 is about a civil war breakout between survivors and bands of marauders. It is being developed on the feedback from the players for the first game. Much of the game content will be an improvement on the first game.

And that my friends is a crossbow, he is holding a crossbow while being shot at. How cool is he?

If these are band of marauders members, this picture is very ironic.
